Who's this?
That lunatic photo on the right, there, is a still from a commercial I was in for Bigg's in Cincinnati in the 1990's. Who I am now is: Speaker, Sales Coach, Communication Coach for Women Leaders, founder of The Goodbye Good Girl Project LLC, actor, writer, and saleswoman. I have worked in Customer Service and Sales for the last two years, unexpectedly, and found it to be fascinating, hilarious and a source of tremendous writing material. Also unexpected. As a perk.
I love people. I'm one of them, so that helps. But I'm not afraid to say that we people types are exceptionally great at being pains in the ass. We are also lovely, surprising, crazy as loons, heartbreaking and frustrating as hell. Again - tremendous writing material.
Mostly, I'm getting along in our world, meeting and connecting with incredible people, battling my own impatience with the furthering of my Communication Coaching business, and creatively approaching my every insane day at "the store". What makes this fabulous is that so much of what my business coaching is about - speaking the other person's "emotional language", empowering your own self emotionally and verbally, and allowing yourself to be as big and bold as you really are - well...who knew I could practice that in sales?
Plus, being a smartass is a whole lotta fun. But I can't do that on the phone or they'd fire me and I'd lose all of my writing material. So I save that for the blog.
If you are looking for a Keynote speaker on Sales, Communication, or how writing your heart out can make you feel sooooo much better, get in touch! Let's do it.
